The Assistants
Nika
Nika is our office team leader and dental assistant and has been a part of the Shelton Dental Center team since 2006. Her skills are not limited to the front and back office, she also is able to to do small repairs and maintenance as needed around the office. Nika is the office problem solver. She went to Bates Technical Institute for Dental
Assisting. Nika is always ready to help out when needed and is happy to help patients understand their dental health and procedures that may be needed.
Nika and her family live on the Key Peninsula in the Lakebay area. She has a teenage son who is an avid musician. Nika likes to read, explore while geocaching, create small crafts, watch movies and spend time laughing with her family and friends.
Kelly
Kelly comes to us with a lot of experience in the dental field and we are happy to have her. She has children and family here in Shelton that give her a connection to our office that we value and the empathy and knowledge to help your families.
“I have been assisting for eight years and I love it. I was born in Seattle and recently moved to the Shelton area. I went to dental assisting school in Federal Way at Eaton Technical College.”
Kelly moved to the Shelton area to be close to family. “I am married and have three beautiful children, that are newborn, two, and five years old.” Kelly just delivered her third child January 14th, 2011. Welcome Baby Jacob! Kelly loves to hike, camp, bicycle and spend time with her family.
Kelly is out on maternity leave for the next couple months. Natasha is filling in while Kelly is gone.
Sally
Sally recently joined our dental family and brings 15 years of dental experience in the front and back office. Sally enjoys working with people and helping them understand their treatment. Sally works seamlessly between the front and back office and can be found in either area through out the day.

Sally was a long time resident of the Lacey, WA area and has recently moved to Shelton. She's fond of the new area and is looking forward to meeting new people. Sally enjoys spending her free time with her four children. Her hobbies include, camping, dancing, quilting, watching football (Go Cougs!), and spending time with family and friends.
Sean
Sean has been working with us for almost a year. He's a great addition to our office and is always willing to help where ever he's
needed. Sean is a graduate of South Puget Sound Community College's Dental Assisting Program. After graduation, he helped teach Radiography to the new students at the college for a quarter.
Sean enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He has been a resident of Olympia for five years. Sean loves his current location and sees himself living there for a long time.
During his free time, Sean enjoys shopping for new shoes and dancing. He rides his suzuki motorcycle, when the weather permits and sometimes when it doesn't. Ouch!
Stacia
Stacia is a recent graduate of South Puget Sound Community College's Dental Assisting Program. She joined our team this summer after demonstrating her work ethic and
assisting skills during her externship with our office. Stacia loves working in the dentistry field and plans on continuing her education to become a hygienist.
Stacia originally lived in Aberdeen. She moved to Olympia six years ago. Stacia is currently living on Black Lake and enjoys basking in the sun. Most of Stacia's time is spent with her family and friends. She loves to meet new people, try new restaurants, watch movies, and go shopping (she has a great sense of fashion).
Tasha
Tasha is our newest member at Shelton Dental Center. She came on as a temporary staff member and has become part of the Shelton Dental Center family.
"I told my mom when I was 14 that I wanted to be a dental assistant. One week after greaduating high school, I was attending the dental assisting program at South Puget Sound Community College. I graduated the program in 2009 and have been working in the field ever since. I couldn't love my job more. I am currently a student at SPSCC working toward my associate of arts degree. I plan on attending Tacoma Community College for the Medical Sonography program next.
When I'm not working or at school, I enjoy relaxing with friends. Some of us get together and take our dogs down to the ponds in Elma. I also enjoy playing poker, darts, pool, as well as going shopping and out to the movies."
