Dr. Stephen K. Edwards

Dr. Stephen Kyle Edwards was born in Utah, and raised in Eastern Oregon. As a young Boy Scout, he      was first exposed to dentistry as a career while earning the "Dentistry Merit Badge." After graduating from Boise State University with a bachelor's degree in biology, Dr. Edwards attended the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated in 2006.

Dr. Edwards returned to the West Coast to serve in the US Army at Fort Lewis. He worked as a general dentist with Dr. Kathie Ketcher treating the soldiers and community. Soon after his arrival, he also started working with Dr. Kathie Ketcher at Shelton Dental Center a few days a month and filling in whenever possible. 

Dr. Edwards has joined our dental family full-time since May 2011 when his service with the military was completed. He has integrated effortlessly and has been a well regarded addition to our practice.

Dr. Edwards is active with Medical Teams International, providing dental care to needy individuals both abroad and in the state of Washington. He lives with his son, Spencer, with whom he enjoys camping, hiking, baseball, and football.
